Hip-House explosion

THURSDAY, MAY 14TH, 2009

Following on from the Hip-House explosion of ‘89 Fast Freddie, Tryee Cooper and Rocky Jones went on to become megastars through their genre blending, smooth rap stylings. Inevitably this gave rise to many imitators, most notable of these is the more recent offerings from Kanye West.

Hang on thats not right. Kanye, its Daft Punk on the phone - they want their music back!

What about the Jungle Brothers, KLF and The Streets. Hip-house ain't all bad!
